Dining at The Woodlands

Dining

Our chef, kitchen staff, and servers provide a consistently excellent menu featuring seasonal flavors, with a nod to healthy options using the freshest ingredients possible. Don’t forget to save room for delectably delicious desserts!

Our dining room is large and spacious, featuring large windows looking out onto our private courtyard. And the room extends to a large screened sun porch for al fresco dining during warm weather.

For those wishing to dine in their homes, arrangements can be made for delivery service.

And to complement the daily menus, we offer holiday menus and special celebrations throughout the year – like our annual Wassail party and summer picnic.

David & Joy Richards, Residents

“If you are looking for a place to retire, you should consider The Woodlands at Stowe. The apartments are spacious and well cared for with many onsite amenities, plus activities through our full-time Activities Coordinator, responsive service by our handyman, access to management through our Residence Council of tenants and, best of all, a professionally prepared meal daily.”

Herschell Murry, Resident

“We came just to inquire about The Woodlands on a Friday and were ready to purchase on Monday. The unit is so spacious and light with lots of large windows that we had not seen anywhere else we looked. The location is off the main route into Stowe, so it is quiet but within easy walking distance of the town and all the amenities. We are delighted with our choice. We keep encouraging our friends to come join us and they are!”

Mike & Marion Moore, Residents

“We have made many new friends and we are involved in many new activities here. Some days we barely leave our unit and other days we spend time running errands and visiting with friends and family. The scenic tours offered by The Woodlands have been enjoyable and have introduced us to this stunningly beautiful area of Vermont!”

Peter & Tana Lilienthal

“I moved into my roomy, sunny apartment almost three years ago and enjoy peace and quiet. The staff is caring; they understand the different needs of a diverse group of residents and are always helpful. I have made new, interesting friends, I have learned from free lectures and demonstrations, I have joined a poetry and a book club, enjoy getting together with people to discuss “current events” and I play indoor and outdoor games.”
